 Paralysis is a condition we associate with loss of muscle function. Paralysis occurs mainly due to disturbances in the nervous system. Nervous system failures can occur due to various reasons such as trauma, polio, botulism, etc. Flaccid paralysis and spastic paralysis are two forms of paralysis.Therefore, this article attempts to discuss the difference between flaccid and spastic paralysis.

 Spastic paralysis is also a form of paralysis. Spastic paralysis causes unusual muscle stiffness. Changes in skeletal muscle performance in muscle tone with hypertension. It is a condition that arises from the inability of the nerves that coordinate the actions of voluntary muscles.During this condition, the nerves that control muscle movement become overstimulated.  Symptoms of spasticity can range from mild muscle stiffness or tightness to painful and uncontrollable spasms. Joint pain or tension are also common with spasticity.

  There are many infectious and non-infectious causes of AFP. Poliomyelitis, caused by wild poliovirus (the naturally circulating strain), is one of the causes of AFP.Consistent with the global polio eradication campaign, there is a global surveillance process that identifies clinical cases of AFP and examines them to determine if these cases are a direct result of wild poliovirus.
